Regular Season Round 19: Tochigi Brex - Ryukyu GK 66-60

There was an upset when leader Ryukyu GK (19-7) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Tochigi Brex (11-15) 66-60 on Sunday. Ryukyu GK was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) fired 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International guard Yusuke Endo (185-89) chipped in 15 points. American forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: Rhode Island) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and international forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Shiga L-Stars. Loser Ryukyu GK still keeps top position with seven games lost. Tochigi Brex will face Niigata Albirex (#5) on the road in the next round. Ryukyu GK will play against Shimane Magic (#5) and hope to win that game.
