Regular Season Round 27: Gunma - Kagawa FA 65-66

Important game to mention about took place in Gunma. Fifth ranked Kagawa FA (10-15) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-best Gunma (13-12) 66-65 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gunma. It was a great evening for American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Takada Shuichi (194-83) helped adding 15 points. The best for the losing side was American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Hirotaka Kondo (187-82) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Gunma's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kagawa FA maintains fifth place with 10-15 record. Gunma at the other side dropped to the third position with 12 games lost. They share it with Cyberdyne IR. Kagawa FA will play against league's leader Fukuoka Rizing at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gunma will have a break next round.
