Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tokyo: Tokyo HT (#2) and Otsuka A. (#4). Tokyo HT (10-2) won against visiting Otsuka A. (8-6) 89-79. Tokyo HT dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Otsuka A.'s 42. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and guard Hiroya Oogane (180-89) who added 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Takeshi Hasegawa (196-84) with 11 points and 6 assists and point guard Iida Hirotoki (180-95) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Five Tokyo HT and four Otsuka A. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokyo HT keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Saitama Bron. Loser Otsuka A. keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Toyoda Gosei. Tokyo HT's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Tokyo Cinq R..
