No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked MIA-RO Cantu (6-6) crushed at home 15th ranked VL Pesaro (3-9) 92-73 on Tuesday. MIA-RO Cantu looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by VL Pesaro's players. The winners were led by American guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) supported him with 20 points and 5 assists. Five MIA-RO Cantu players scored in double figures. Even 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Dallas Moore (185-94, college: N.Florida, agency: 3Eye) did not help to save the game for VL Pesaro. Naturalized Argentinian Pablo Bertone (193-90, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MIA-RO Cantu moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Dolomiti En. TR and Virtus Bologna. VL Pesaro lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with nine games lost. MIA-RO Cantu will meet Grissin Bon RE (#12) in the next round where they are favorite. VL Pesaro will play against Armani Milano and hope to secure a win.
