Regular Season Round 20: Rieker KN - Levice 98-76

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Levice (14-6) against sixth ranked Rieker KN (11-9) on Wednesday night. Visiting Levice was crushed by Rieker KN in Komarno 98-76. Rieker KN shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. The winners were led by American forward Miles Bowman-Jr (198-93, college: High Point) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Slovenian guard Boban Tomic (190-88) supported him with 16 points and 12 assists. Rieker KN's coach Milos Sporar felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points and 5 assists by Slovenian guard Miha Vasl (192-92, agency: PEPI SPORT) did not help to save the game for Levice. International center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: Florida St.) added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Five Rieker KN and four Levice players scored in double figures. Rieker KN moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Prievidza. Levice at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Rieker KN will play against Prievidza (#6) on the road in the next round. Levice will play against Handlova and hopes to get back on the winning track.
