Regular Season Round 12: Orleans - Evreux 104-81

ProB top team - Entente Orleans 45 (11-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked ALM Evreux (3-9) 104-81. The game without a history. Entente Orleans 45 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Entente Orleans 45 shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by swingman Gaylor Curier (197-92) who scored that evening 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Puerto Rican point guard Alexander Abreu (180-91, college: W.Georgia) supported him with 12 points and 9 assists. Entente Orleans 45's coach Germain Castano felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 18 points and 10 assists by Damien Bouquet (196-94) did not help to save the game for ALM Evreux. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Entente Orleans 45 and four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Entente Orleans 45 maintains first position with 11-1 record. ALM Evreux at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Aix-Maurienne. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Poitiers (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. ALM Evreux will play against Charleville-Mezieres and hopes to get back on the winning track.
