Regular Season Round 24: CD Castro - Osorno 100-83

The game in Castro was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Osorno Basquetbol (8-15) played at the court of fifth ranked CD Castro (9-16). CD Castro did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 100-83 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Osorno Basquetbol. The best player for the winners was American forward Rakim Brown (198-91, college: Humboldt St.) who scored 41 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. American-Puerto Rican guard Wil Martinez (188-92, college: Fairmont St.) chipped in 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Landon Atterberry (198-93, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Aspire Sports) who recorded 23 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import Durrell Summers (193-89, college: Michigan St.) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively. Four Osorno Basquetbol players scored in double figures. CD Castro moved-up to fourth place. Loser Osorno Basquetbol dropped to the fifth position with 15 games lost. CD Castro will face Puente Alto (#5) on the road in the next round.
