Regular Season Round 15: Limoges - Bourg 88-75

There was no surprise when 7th ranked JL Bourg (8-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Limoges CSP Elite (10-5) 88-75. JL Bourg was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 48-28 second half run of Limoges CSP Elite. 25 personal fouls committed by JL Bourg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Brian Conklin (201-89, college: St.Louis) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Jean-Frederic Morency (200-89) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Limoges CSP Elite's coach Kyle Milling used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) came up with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for JL Bourg in the defeat. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Limoges CSP Elite maintains second place with 10-5 record having just two points less than leader Monaco, which they share with Le Mans. Newly promoted JL Bourg keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Limoges CSP Elite's next round opponent will be league's leader Monaco on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. JL Bourg will play against Hyeres-Toulon (#12) and hope to win that game.
