Regular Season Round 14: Eurotrend Biella - Cuore Napoli 92-59

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Eurotrend Biella (10-4) smashed at home 16th ranked Cuore Napoli (2-12) 92-59 on Friday. Eurotrend Biella dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Cuore Napoli's 34 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Cuore Napoli 41-24 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eurotrend Biella looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Cuore Napoli's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) who scored 26 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Amedeo Tessitori (208-94) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Eurotrend Biella players scored in double figures. Eurotrend Biella's coach Michele Carrea felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Bruno Mascolo (190-96) produced 20 points and American Melsahn Basabe (201-92, college: Iowa) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Eurotrend Biella maintains second position in A2 with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Alma Trieste. Newly promoted Cuore Napoli keeps the sixteenth place with 12 games lost. Eurotrend Biella will face Remer Treviglio (#15) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Cuore Napoli will play against Viola RC and hope to win that game.
