Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Magia Huesca (7-9) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Oviedo CB (11-5) 70-66 on Friday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Magia Huesca won third quarter 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of center Oliver Arteaga (208-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and swingman Victor Perez (195-82) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side center Alberto Fontet (213-86) responded with 8 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and Dutch forward Kevin van-Wijk (203-89, college: Valparaiso) scored 12 points. Magia Huesca's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Oviedo CB have a solid four-game winning streak. Oviedo CB maintains fourth position with 11-5 record. Loser Magia Huesca keeps the eleventh place with nine games lost. Oviedo CB will face league's leader Leche Rio Breogan in Lugo in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Magia Huesca will play on the road against Ourense (#18) and hope to win that game.
