Regular Season Round 15: Agustinos-Leclerc - L'Hospitalet 95-97

The most exciting game of round 15 in the LEB Silver took place in Leon. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 11th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (7-8) to second ranked L'Hospitalet (11-4) 97-95 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests trailed by 13 points after three quarters before their 30-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Georgian center Shota Gelazonia (205-94) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). American guard Devin Schmidt (193, college: Delta St.) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Five L'Hospitalet players scored in double figures. American swingman Andre Norris (201-94, college: Dubuque, agency: Two Points) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Alvaro Sanz (190-98) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Agustinos-Leclerc. L'Hospitalet maintains second place with 11-4 record behind leader Granada, which they share with La Roda. Agustinos-Leclerc lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. L'Hospitalet is looking forward to face Fontedoso Carrefour (#7) in Avila in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Agustinos-Leclerc will play at home against La Roda and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
