Important game to mention about took place in Panama City. Second ranked Correcaminos (5-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Aguilas (3-6) 72-69 on Friday evening. They outrebounded Aguilas 47-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. Correcaminos players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Naturalized American forward Tyler Gaskins (193-92, college: St.Peter's) nailed 20 points and 6 assists for the winning side and naturalized American point guard Trevor Gaskins (188-89, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pro Sports) accounted for 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Jonathan King (198-90, college: Abil.Christian) came up with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Daniel King (203-87, college: Texas Southern) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Aguilas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aguilas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains second place with 5-4 record having just two points less than leader Caballos. Aguilas at the other side stay at the bottom position with six games lost.
