Date: December 29, 2017
Fifth-ranked Kagawa FA (10-16) gave a tough game to first ranked Fukuoka Rizing (23-4) in Takamatsu. The visitors from Fukuoka managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected much easier game. Fukuoka Rizing players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Even a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) did not help to save the game for Kagawa FA. His fellow American import guard Montay Brandon (203-93, college: Florida St.) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Four Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fukuoka Rizing have a solid three-game winning streak.
