Leader Al Gharafa delivered the eighth victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Al Shamal (1-9) 87-64 in Doha. Al Gharafa players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American point guard James Justice (178-89, college: Martin Methodist) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. His fellow American import forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Abdul Kosar (192) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and DR Congolese-American swingman Moses Ehambe (198-86, college: ORU) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Al Shamal.
