We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers Hitachi Sunrockers (18-10) lost to fourth ranked Toshiba Thunders (18-10) in Tokyo 61-75 on Saturday. American power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. The former international swingman Naoto Tsuji (185-89) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Toshiba Thunders' coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Canadian center Robert Sacre (213-89, college: Gonzaga) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Hitachi Sunrockers. Toshiba Thunders have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Hitachi SR. Toshiba Thunders will face Hokkaido L. (#5) in Saporro in the next round. Hitachi Sunrockers will play on the road against the league's second-placed San-en NeoPhoenix in Hamamatsu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
