Regular Season Round 21: Inter Bratislava - Iskra Svit 107-87

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bratislava. First ranked Inter Bratislava faced 4th placed Iskra Svit. Host Inter Bratislava (18-2) smashed guests from Svit (12-8) 107-87. Inter Bratislava shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Tomas Mrvis (200-91, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 25 points. The former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian point guard Sasa Avramovic (193-93, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Pavol Losonsky (203-88, college: Cal-Irvine) added 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) respectively. Five Inter Bratislava and four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-2 record. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face Rieker KN (#6) in Komarno in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Iskra Svit will play on the road against Karlovka in Bratislava and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
