Regular Season Round 12: Kings - United 79-103

Date: December 30, 2017
The game in Sydney supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked United (11-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Kings (5-14). United smashed Kings 103-79. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. United players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The other American import power forward Josh Boone (208-84, college: Connecticut) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four United players scored in double figures. American-Ukrainian point guard Jerome Randle (175-87, college: California) replied with 26 points and 5 assists and American forward Perry Ellis (203-93, college: Kansas) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kings. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. United have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Breakers. Kings at the other side stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. United's next round opponent will be Illawarra Hawks (#5) in Gwynneville. Kings will play at home against the league's leader Perth Wildcats and hope to win that game.
