Very expected game when 5th ranked Shimane Magic (7-21) lost to first ranked Ryukyu GK (21-7) in Okinawa 71-85 on Monday. It was a great shooting night for Ryukyu GK especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ryukyu GK made 8 blocks. American forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: Rhode Island) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. International forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. American forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import Tyler Stone (203-91, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Shimane Magic.
