The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (12-3) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked BM Slam Stal (8-6) 73-68. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 25-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-73 at the end of the game. BM Slam Stal made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by MKS Dabrowa Gornicza helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. BM Slam Stal is looking forward to face AZS Koszalin (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play against GTK (#16) in Gliwice and is hoping to win this game.
