Not a big story in a game in Borganes where 7th ranked Gnupverjar (4-9) was rolled over by first ranked Skallagrimur (11-2) 101-80 on Thursday. Skallagrimur well out of reach of Gnupverjar shooting 73.2 percent from the field and made 103-of-107 free shots (96.3 percent) during the game, while Gnupverjar only scored 83 points from the stripe. Skallagrimur forced 34 Gnupverjar turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 39 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Skallagrimur maintains first place with 11-2 record. Newly promoted Gnupverjar keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Skallagrimur will face Snaefell (#3) in Stykkisholmur in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
