Regular Season Round 28: Capitanes - Fuerza Regia 63-58

Round 28 in LNBP means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Mexico where host Capitanes (17-9) beat league's leader Fuerza Regia (18-9) 63-58 on Thursday evening. American-Puerto Rican forward Emmanuel Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) fired 19 points for the winners. Panamanian forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Benoit Mendzana produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Andy Panko (203-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Fuerza Regia's coach Paco Olmos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Capitanes moved-up to third place, which they share with Soles. Fuerza Regia lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the second position with nine games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Mineros. Fuerza Regia will play next round against league's leader Mineros trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Capitanes will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Abejas in Guanajuato.
