A very close game took place in Mercedes between Olimpico de La Banda and Comunicaciones. Sixteenth ranked Olimpico de La Banda (3-6) got a very close victory on the road over 20th ranked Comunicaciones (1-7). Olimpico de La Banda managed to escape with a 1-point win 88-87 on Friday evening. Olimpico de La Banda looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Comunicaciones' coach Fernando Rivero let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Olimpico de La Banda went down to seventeenth position due to points difference. Comunicaciones lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the nineteenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Salta Basket. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
