Regular Season Round 11: NSH - Hang Tuah 72-79

Bottom-ranked NSH (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 79-72 loss to fourth ranked Hang Tuah (2-5) in Jakarta. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. NSH was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Keenan Palmore (185-94, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Forward Nahshon George (206-93, college: Idaho, agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. George is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hang Tuah players scored in double figures. Forward Jason Carter (206-92, college: Texas Southern, agency: Haylett Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and guard Brachon Griffin (185-92, college: Elizabeth City, agency: SDJ Sports) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for NSH. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hang Tuah maintains fourth place with 2-5 record. NSH lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Siliwangi.
