There was no surprise when 11th ranked UU-Korihait (3-17) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Tampereen Pyrinto (12-8) 112-75 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 112-75. Tampereen Pyrinto shot 63.6 percent from the field. Tampereen Pyrinto outrebounded UU-Korihait 40-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Tampereen Pyrinto especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by UU-Korihait's players. UU-Korihait was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch.
