Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Argentino (5-3) defeated 10th ranked Quilmes MP (3-4) in Mar del Plata 85-79. Argentino made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Quilmes MP helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward John Millsap (198-82, college: UTSA) fired 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Luciano Massarelli (183-93) chipped in 17 points. Millsap is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Swingman Emiliano Basabe (193-92) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Eric Flor (186-93) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Argentino and four Quilmes MP players scored in double figures. Argentino have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Instituto.
