Eighth-ranked Nassjo (2-10) made lots of trouble for first ranked BC Lulea (12-2) on Friday. The visitors from Lulea managed to secure only two-point victory 104-102. However their fans expected much easier game. BC Lulea made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Nassjo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BC Lulea have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-2 record. Nassjo lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. BC Lulea are looking forward to face Sodertalje Kings (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nassjo will play against KFUM Jamtland (#5) in Ostersund and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
