Very predictable result in Ciudad Victoria where fifth ranked Correcaminos (12-11) defeated bottom-ranked Libertadores (5-20) 93-81 on Friday. They outrebounded Libertadores 49-34 including 36 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Correcaminos made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was British V.Islands center Kleon Penn (213-86, college: McNeese St., agency: Paris Global Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks. The former international guard Cezar Guerrero (185-92, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Penn is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Five Correcaminos players scored in double figures.
