There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Tessilform Bernareggio (6-10) beat at home higher ranked Crema (12-4) 84-78 on Saturday. Tessilform Bernareggio made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for Giacomo Baldini (190-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Giordano Bortolani (193-0) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Francesco Paolin (190-95) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and swingman Pietro Del-Sorbo (191-85) added 18 points in the effort for Crema. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tessilform Bernareggio moved-up to twelfth place in B, which they share with Rimini. Loser Crema keeps the third position with four games lost. Tessilform Bernareggio will face higher ranked Olginate (#11) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Crema will play against Desio (#10) and hope to win that game.
