Regular Season Round 17: Froya Basket - Centrum 86-72

There was no surprise in Laksevag where 10th ranked Centrum (1-16) was defeated by fifth ranked Froya Basket (9-9) 86-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Froya Basket. Centrum managed to win third quarter 24-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Froya Basket forced 19 Centrum turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Guard Nikolas Skouen (190-90, college: Pepperdine, agency: Duran International) stepped up and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and guard Sigurd Lorange (178-0) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Nick Kervens (190-95) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Marcus Larsson (204-99) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Froya Basket maintains fifth place with 9-9 record. Centrum lost their seventh game in a row. Defending champion stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Froya Basket will meet at home Tromso (#9) in the next round. Centrum will play against Baerum Basket in Bekkestua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
