BLK top team - Wisla Krakow (12-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat twelfth ranked MKK Siedlce (2-11) 74-66. MKK Siedlce was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 28-12 third quarter run of Wisla Krakow. They also forced 22 MKK Siedlce turnovers. Spanish guard Leonor Rodriguez-Manso (180-91, college: Florida St.) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian point guard Tamara Radocaj (170-87) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Wisla Krakow's coach Krzysztof Szewczyk allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Ukrainian forward Oksana Mollov (188-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Russian forward Kristina Alikina (187-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Wisla Krakow have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-1 record. MKK Siedlce lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Wisla Krakow will play against bottom-ranked Widzew (#13) in Lodz in the next round which should be an easy win for them. MKK Siedlce will play at home against Sleza Wroclaw and hopes to get back on the winning track.
