Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Liege (9-7) beat at home 9th ranked B.Willebroek (4-12) 74-68. The hosts were already 17 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 28-17 B.Willebroek's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 74-68 at the end of the game. Center Laura Henket (183-98, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Jaleesa Maes (188-92, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 15 points and 13 rebounds. Four Liege players scored in double figures. Liege's coach Pierre Cornia allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
