Very expected game when 10th ranked Battipaglia (1-12) was smashed by fourth ranked San Martino (8-4) in San Martino di L 75-54 on Sunday. San Martino made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Battipaglia turnovers. Slovakian Sabina Oroszova (190-93, college: E.Illinois) nailed 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American swingman Jasmine Bailey (176-90, college: Ill.-Chicago) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four San Martino players scored in double figures. Croatian Lea Miletic (185-95) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American guard Jori Davis (175-89, college: Indiana, agency: Two Points) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Battipaglia in the defeat.
