Bottom-ranked ASEFA Estudiantes is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 15th consecutive match to second ranked Argon Uni Girona (13-2) 91-47. The game without a history. Argon Uni Girona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ASEFA Estudiantes to just 5 points in third quarter. Argon Uni Girona forced 20 ASEFA Estudiantes turnovers and had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for international forward Maria Conde (187-97, college: Florida St.) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Laura Roig helped adding 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was center Mariana Gonzalez (187-88) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Paula Ginzo (187-98) scored 10 points. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Argon Uni Girona. They maintain second place with 13-2 record behind leader Avenida. ASEFA Estudiantes lost their fifteenth game in a row. Argon Uni Girona will play against league's leader Perfumerias Avenida in Salamanca in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
