Regular Season Round 15: Campus Promete - AE Sedis 68-77

Rather predictable result when eighth ranked AE Sedis (8-7) won against 12th ranked Campus Promete (2-13) in Logrono 77-68. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. AE Sedis forced 22 Campus Promete turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Mehryn Kraker (183, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). Guard Yurena Diaz (178-93) helped adding 11 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Jamaican power forward Vanessa Gidden (192-85, college: Hofstra, agency: ProDep Management) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Portuguese center Carolina Silva (187-90) scored 9 points. AE Sedis moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sant Adria. Campus Promete lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Zamarat. AE Sedis will play against Al-Qazeres (#9) in Caceres in the next round. Campus Promete will play on the road against Sant Adria and hopes to get back on the winning track.
