An interesting game for Tokyo Excel. (10-4) which played road game in Saitama against their biggest opponent Saitama Broncos (10-4). Third ranked Tokyo Excel. managed to get a 8-point victory 86-78. American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import Justin Herold (203-91, college: Sonoma St.) accounted for 20 points and 13 rebounds. Four Tokyo Excel. players scored in double figures. Point guard Masaya Ueda (177-93) came up with 29 points and 8 assists and American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Saitama Broncos in the defeat. Saitama Broncos' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo Excel. moved-up to second place, which they share with Saitama Bron. Tokyo Excel. will meet Kagoshima (#6) in the next round. Saitama Broncos will play against Otsuka A. (#5) and hope to secure a win.
