No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Mann Filter (10-5) beat 9th ranked Araski (7-8) in Vitoria-Gasteiz 78-69. The game without a history. Mann Filter led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-85, college: Union, TN, agency: ProDep Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points. Paraguayan guard Gabriela Ocete (170-88, agency: ProDep Management) helped adding 11 points and 8 assists. Four Mann Filter players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Venezuelan point guard Roselis Silva (166-91, college: Arkansas Tech) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Marta Tudanca (182-90, agency: ProDep Management) scored 15 points. Araski's coach Madelen Urieta rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Mann Filter maintains fourth place with 10-5 record. Araski at the other side keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Al-Qazeres. Mann Filter will play against Gernika (#5) at home in the next round. Araski will play against Socinsa Bembibre (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
