Regular Season Round 13: Tokyo Big Blue - Toyoda Gosei 71-87

Bottom-ranked Tokyo Big Blue is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 14th consecutive match to fourth ranked Toyoda Gosei (10-6) 87-71 on Sunday evening. Toyoda Gosei looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Tokyo Big Blue's players. It was a very good performance for American forward Patrick Simon (203-92, college: Seattle Pacific) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 24 rebounds. Point guard Ryoma Yanagiuchi (182-92) contributed with 19 points and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Bryan Simpson (197-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Ryo Kuroki (192-93) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo Big Blue. Five Tokyo Big Blue players scored in double figures. Toyoda Gosei have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 10-6 record.
