Regular Season Round 14: CS Antonine - Homenetmen 92-108

Leader Homenetmen delivered the thirteenth victory. This time they beat 8th ranked CS Antonins (4-10) 108-92. Homenetmen shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by CS Antonins helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American swingman Sam Young (198-85, college: Pittsburgh) notched 29 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) supported him with 27 points and 9 assists. Five Homenetmen players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists by American Rashad McCants (193-84, college: N.Carolina, agency: Haylett Sports) did not help to save the game for CS Antonins. American-Jordanian guard Rasheim Wright (192-81, college: District of Col.) added 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. CS Antonins' coach Jeronimo Sarin rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Homenetmen (13-1) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position. CS Antonins lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eighth place with ten games lost. Homenetmen's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Tadamon (#10) in Zouk and are hoping to win another game. CS Antonins will play on the road against Beirut Club and hope to win that game.
