An interesting game took place in Baskonia where higher ranked Moron (9-8) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Fundacion 5+11 (5-12) 72-68 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Rodney Williams (201-93, college: Drexel) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 7 rebounds and Estonian swingman Sander Raieste (200-99) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Javier Marin (190-92) responded with 13 points and 7 assists and forward Jose Jimenez (197-96) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Fundacion 5+11 maintains fourteenth position with 5-12 record. Moron lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. Fundacion 5+11 will face higher ranked Plasencia (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
