Bottom-ranked Panathinaikos is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to seventh ranked Esperides (5-5) 68-48. The game was mostly controlled by Esperides. Panathinaikos was better in fourth quarter 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Panathinaikos to just 6 points in second quarter. Swingman Katerina Tsineke (178-99) produced 14 points and Vasia Zarri added 8 points respectively for lost side. Panathinaikos' coach Giorgos Kantzilieris tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Esperides moved-up to sixth place. Panathinaikos at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Esperides' next round opponent will be higher ranked Dafni Agioy (#4) in Athens and it may be quite challenging game. Panathinaikos will play on the road against Niki Lefkadas (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
