A1 top team - Panathinaikos (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Koroivos (4-7) in Athens 92-57. The game without a history. Panathinaikos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Panathinaikos forced 24 Koroivos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Koroivos' players. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian point guard Lukas Lekavicius (180-94) who scored 14 points and 6 assists. Naturalized American center Zach Auguste (208-93, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 13 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). American forward Shaquille Hines (203-93, college: UTRGV) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Quenton DeCosey (196-93, college: Temple) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Panathinaikos have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Loser Koroivos keeps the tenth position with seven games lost.
