The game between Top Four teams took place in Osorno. 4th ranked host Osorno Basquetbol (9-16) lost to third ranked Universidad de Concepcion (14-13) 82-75. Strangely Osorno Basquetbol outrebounded Universidad de Concepcion 37-24 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Universidad de Concepcion especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. Forward Diego Silva (186-93) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even 29 points and 6 rebounds by American Durrell Summers (193-89, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Osorno Basquetbol. C Lopez added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Five Universidad de Concepcion and four Osorno Basquetbol players scored in double figures. Universidad de Concepcion moved-up to second place, which they share with CDU Catolica. Osorno Basquetbol at the other side keeps the fourth position with 16 games lost. Universidad de Concepcion will play against Puente Alto (#4) at home in the next round. Osorno Basquetbol will play against Puerto Montt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
