There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Orchesien BC (7-8) crushed 10th ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (7-9) in Orchies 83-62. Orchesien BC made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Orchesien BC outrebounded SO Maritime Boulogne 34-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by SO Maritime Boulogne's players. American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Fabien Ateba (192-91) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Naturalized Cameroonian guard Ralph Temgoua (194-87, college: St.Lawrence) produced 8 points and American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) added 9 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Orchesien BC moved-up to tenth place. SO Maritime Boulogne at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost. Orchesien BC's next round opponent will be Brissac-Aubance (#13) in Brissac-Quince. SO Maritime Boulogne will play at home against CFBB and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProB just one year after relegation.
