We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Turun where one of their biggest challengers TuNMKY (8-5) was defeated by fifth ranked Pyrinto II (8-5) 74-65. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. American forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo, agency: Two Points) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and swingman Antti Keski-Koukkari (192-90) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Pyrinto II players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by forward Tomi Lommi (194-96) did not help to save the game for TuNMKY. Center Mikael Sandberg (210-91) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pyrinto II maintains fifth position in Division with 8-5 record. Pyrinto II's next round opponent will be Lahti (#6) on the road. TuNMKY will play against Porvoon Tarmo and hope to win that game.
