An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Shanghai. First ranked Beijing Great Wall faced 4th placed Shanghai Dahua. Guests from Beijing (19-4) defeated host Shanghai Dahua (16-7) 74-68. Beijing Great Wall players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American center Sylvia Fowles (198-85, college: LSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Xiufeng Shi (178-87) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Breanna Stewart (193-94, college: Connecticut) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Jing Huang (183-85) added 18 points in the effort for Shanghai Dahua. Beijing Great Wall have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-4 record. Shanghai Dahua lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Shanxi XR. Beijing Great Wall will play against Shenyang Golden Lions (#13) in Dandong in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Shanghai Dahua will play at home against the league's second-placed Xinjiang (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
