Regular Season Round 13: KFUM Lidingo - Norrort 88-85

The most exciting game of round 13 in the Basketettan took place in Lidingo. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Taby Basket (7-4) to sixth ranked KFUM Lidingo (7-5) 88-85 on Thursday evening. KFUM Lidingo outrebounded Taby Basket 54-38 including 24 on the offensive glass. Slovakian guard Joakim Metz (185-92) stepped up and scored 23 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and forward Alexandar Petrovic (197-93) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side guard David Niklasson (193-95, college: N.Platte CC) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and guard Carl Tjernberg (185-98) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. KFUM Lidingo moved-up to fifth place. Taby Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. KFUM Lidingo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Taby Basket will play at home against AIK II (#12) and is hoping to win this game.
