An interesting game for Taiyuan Textile (2-1) which played against Chunghwa Telecom (1-2). Taiyuan Textile managed to get a 8-point victory 75-67. Taiyuan Textile outrebounded Chunghwa Telecom 44-32 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. International forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-92) nailed 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international guard Yi-Feng Chen (170-84) accounted for 10 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Taiyuan Textile players scored in double figures. International swingman Yen-Yu Chen (169-94) came up with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Wei-Lin Wang (180-93) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Chunghwa Telecom in the defeat. Chunghwa Telecom's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Taiyuan Textile will meet Taipower (#4) in the next round. Chunghwa Telecom will play against Cathay Life and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
