Regular Season Round 14: Wildcats - United 80-82

Important game to mention about took place in Perth. Third ranked United (13-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Perth Wildcats (13-7) 82-80 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Perth Wildcats were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Fijian forward Tai Wesley (201-86, college: Utah St.) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four United players scored in double figures. Cameroonian-American forward JP Tokoto (198-93, college: N.Carolina) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Bryce Cotton (185-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. United have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Perth Wildcats dropped to the second place with seven games lost. United will play against Bullets (#7) in Brisbane in the next round where they are favorite. Perth Wildcats will play on the road against Kings (#8) in Sydney and hope to get back on the winning track.
