Third ranked United (13-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Perth Wildcats (13-7) 82-80 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Perth Wildcats were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Fijian forward Tai Wesley (201-86, college: Utah St.) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest.
