Regular Season Round 12: Yulon Luxgen - Fubon Braves 86-76

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Yulon Luxgen as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Yulon Luxgen defeated 5th ranked Fubon Braves at home 86-76. The winners were led by Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds and the former international guard Shih-Yuan Chou (188-83) supported him with 20 points. Even a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds by American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) did not help to save the game for Fubon Braves. International center Chih-Wei Lin (200-92) added 14 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Fubon Braves at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Fubon Braves will play next round against Dacin Tigers trying to get back on the winning streak. Yulon Luxgen will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Bank of Taiwan at home.
