Regular Season Round 15: Dijon - Strasbourg U21 76-71

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Strasbourg U21 (11-4) against eleventh ranked Dijon (8-6) on Friday night. Visiting Strasbourg U21 was defeated by Dijon in a tough game in Dijon 71-76. It was an exceptional evening for guard Damien Archinard (196-98) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 assists. Power forward Nicolas Dorez (204-99) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Four Dijon players scored in double figures. Center Quentin Goulmy (206-98) came up with 23 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Ludovic Beyhurst (172-99) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Strasbourg U21 in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dijon have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place. Strasbourg U21 at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Dijon will play against Le Mans (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Strasbourg U21 will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#17) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
